Data analytics can be enabled by different types of analytic tools, including those based on statistical analysis, data visualization, prediction, text analytics, and so on. We usually get to know our analytic requirements before deciding which tool type is appropriate.

Yes, we create analysis plans to help our clients think through the data to be collected. Creating an analysis plan is an important way to ensure that all the data needed are collected and that all the data collected are used. Analysis planning can be an invaluable investment of time and help select the most appropriate research methods and statistical tools.

• A typical project is generally divided into the following five steps:
• Step 1 - ‘Evaluation’ where our analyst helps identify and understand the problems and issues the organization faces. The first thing we do is understand the problem in sufficient detail to help determine the problem that data are meant to solve and the input and output requirements (both immediate and potential) of the database that would be created. We look at ways to get an initial, accurate overview of the problem. During this step, there is significant interaction between the client/organization and our analyst. The analytics project starts upon approval from the client/organization to carry on.
• Step 2 - ‘Plan’ where our analyst helps decide what type of data are required, sources from which the data are to be procured (if the data do not already exist), how the data need to be prepared for use and what methods to be used for analysis. Our analyst will design data collection schemes if the data do not already exist.
• Step 3 - ‘Execute’ where our analyst explores and analyzes data. Data are interpreted, visualized, and summarized, and interesting results are shared with the clients/shareholders. Based on these results, strategies are formulated to tackle the problems identified in step 1.
• Step 4 - ‘Evaluate’ where our analyst measures the results of the strategies formulated and executed.
• Step 5 - ‘Report’ where our analyst provides summary report results, in the form of a presentation or excitative report, to the clients/stakeholders and other interested parties.

The major factors that determine the timeline for a project are the type of project (i.e., whether it is a program evaluation project, DEI project, or a study, etc.,) the scope and scale and scope of the project, availability of required data, acceptance, and approval from the client/organization to carry on the analytics project. Our analyst generally defines a project timeline as dependent on the factors listed above.

Presuming a typical timeline, our pricing largely depends on the type of analytics services provided. An organization may use Proscenium Data Solutions for all its data analytic needs. On the other hand, an organization can decide to use Proscenium Data Solutions for data collection and data management or some aspects of its program assessment. But build data analytic capabilities in-house. These options have their own pros and cons.
